Night drives rock. weather it’s a nice cruise, a backroad blast, or a freeway run to that good 24/7 doughnut place, it always requires a soundtrack. sometimes, that engine humming along is enough, but when it’s not, let me fill your ears with a random and varied assortment of music. This is late night tunes , and i hope you enjoy tonight’s number!
Bonus: a nissan Gloria

A great vocal talent in this song, from way back in my time. I think it was one of the first songs I recorded from radio on my new Sony “boom box”, while Hurricane Gloria raged over the state where I grew up, thankfully without any major damage in our region. Thanks for the track and memories. It means a lot.

I love that video. They spent tens of dollars on its production.

Ever hear the original “Self Control” by RAF? It’s even better than her megahit.

I like the music posts here a lot; they’re a great way to find new (to me) music, or remember a long forgotten favorite that I can now just purchase/download. And late night is usually when I’m on here, too. Works out well, thanks!
I just now remembered the model of the “stereo”: Transound. It had a weak little 3-band equalizer built in that I thought was the coolest thing ever. To be fair, I think I was about 8 years old at the time. Wow, you really can find anything on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SONY-CFS-3…
